More migrants are now coming from the Honduran city of San Pedro Sula and surrounding areas than anywhere else in Central America. In this episode of Immigrant America we saw San Pedro Sula, the most violent and second largest city in Hondura, and we found out why so many families and young people are risking it all to migrate illegally to the US. The society there has yet to recover from a 2009 coup that crippled the economy and unleashed extreme levels of violence and inequality. Violence means behavior involving phiscal force intended to hurt damage, or kill someone or something, and it's an unlawful excercise. What really accumulate and make bigger this problem is the increase of delinquency , corruption, and poverty. As a result of this reign of terror many Hondurans have decided to migrate to the United States to protect their children and have a better life regardless of the risk they run on the road. The solution to this problem is to put the young people in the army, so when they grow up they don't join the gangs. This is important because the gangs are killing innocent people just because they think that's fun, and just to make easy money.
